What started as taping off irregular shapes and mixing bold colours, turned in to a series of made-up landscapes that are a mixture of an aerial view of the variegated farmers fields, and a ground view of a sunset or sunrise with a bright sun or moon and contrasting stratus clouds.
After flying for the first time, I was fascinated with how farmers fields reminded me of quilts my Grandma would sew; the different shapes with varied colours, patterns, and roads in between.
